Real estate sales statistics in Turkiye in June 2024
In Türkiye, house sales decreased by 5.2% in June compared to the same month of the previous year and became 79,313. The provinces with the highest number of house sales were İstanbul with 13,025, Ankara with 6,866 and İzmir with 4,361, while the provinces with the lowest number were Ardahan with 34, Hakkari with 40, Tunceli and Bayburt with 44.
In January-June period, house sales decreased by 3.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 545,074.
In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales decreased by 49.4% in June compared to the same month of the previous year and became 6,813. Mortgaged house sales had 8.6% share of all house sales. In January-June period, mortgaged house sales decreased by 57.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 51,415.
1,547 of mortgaged house sales in June and 12,176 of mortgaged house sales in January-June period were first sales.
In Türkiye, other house sales increased by 3.3% in June compared to the same month of the previous year and became 72,500. Other house sales had 91.4% share of all house sales. In January-June period, other house sales increased by 11.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 493,659.
In Türkiye, first time house sales decreased by 1.8% in June compared to the same month of the previous year and became 25,425. First sales had 32.1% share of all house sales. In January-June period, first time house sales increased by 1.3% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 173,324.In Türkiye, second hand house sales decreased by 6.7% in June compared to the same month of the previous year and became 53,888. Second hand sales had 67.9% share of all house sales. In January-June period, second hand house sales decreased by 5.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 371,750.
House sales to foreigners decreased by 45.1% in June compared to the same month of the previous year and became 1,440. House sales to foreigners had 1.8% share of all house sales in June. The provinces with the highest number of house sales to foreigners were Antalya with 593, İstanbul with 478 and Mersin with 116.
In January-June period, house sales to foreigners decreased by 45.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 10,461.
