Real estate sales statistics in Turkiye in November 2024

In Türkiye, house sales increased by 63.6% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and became 153,014. The provinces with the highest number of house sales were İstanbul with 26,320, Ankara with 14,916 and İzmir with 8,583, while the provinces with the lowest number were Bayburt with 89, Tunceli with 99 and Hakkari with 121.

In January-November period, house sales increased by 16.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 1 million 265,388.

In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales increased by 315.7% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and became 21,804. Mortgaged house sales had 14.2% share of all house sales. In January-November period, mortgaged house sales decreased by 21.3% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 135,209.

5,213 of mortgaged house sales in November and 32,082 of mortgaged house sales in January-November period were first sales.

In Türkiye, other house sales increased by 48.6% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and became 131,210. Other house sales had 85.8% share of all house sales. In January-November period, other house sales increased by 23.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 1 million 130,179.

In Türkiye, first time house sales increased by 61.7% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and became 49,274. First sales had 32.2% share of all house sales. In January-November period, first time house sales increased by 24.2% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 407,832.

In Türkiye, second hand house sales increased by 64.6% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and became 103,740. Second hand sales had 67.8% share of all house sales. In January-November period, second hand house sales increased by 13.0% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 857,556.

House sales to foreigners decreased by 8.2% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and became 2,151. House sales to foreigners had 1.4% share of all house sales in November. The provinces with the highest number of house sales to foreigners were İstanbul with 780, Antalya with 752 and Mersin with 191.

In January-November period, house sales to foreigners decreased by 35.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 21,363.
